Free Bet Blackjack Rules

Free Bet Blackjack is a variant where the house funds your doubles on hard 9, 10, and 11 and your splits on every pair except ten-value pairs — so you keep the upside without risking extra chips. When the dealer busts with exactly 22, all standing hands push.

Basic Play

  • Blackjack pays 3 to 2.
  • Dealer must hit soft 17.
  • 6 decks are used; shoe is reshuffled automatically.
  • Insurance pays 2 to 1 when the dealer has a natural blackjack.

Free Bet Rules

  • Free Double is available on any two-card hard 9, 10, or 11.
  • Free Split is available on all pairs except ten-value pairs (10, J, Q, K).
  • Split aces receive only one card each.
  • Free bets are funded by the house — you risk nothing extra.
  • Each free double or free split earns one Pot of Gold coin.
  • Up to 4 hands after re-splitting.

Dealer 22 Push

  • When the dealer busts with exactly 22, all remaining player hands push (tie).
  • Player blackjack still beats a dealer 22.
  • Player busts still lose against a dealer 22.

Paid Double & Split

  • You may double on any two cards (player-funded).
  • Ten-value pairs (10, J, Q, K) may be split with a paid split (player-funded).
  • Paid splits and doubles are deducted from your bank.

  • Pays based on the number of free-bet coins earned in the round.
  • 1 coin: 3:1 — 2 coins: 10:1 — 3 coins: 30:1
  • 4 coins: 60:1 — 5 coins: 100:1 — 6 coins: 299:1 — 7+ coins: 1000:1
  • Loses if the dealer has a natural blackjack.
